Attention all fourth-year Environmental Science and Sustainability students! The Internship Hub recently released a fantastic opportunity for a UofG student to intern at Roadbridge in Dumfries and Galloway.
As Roadbridge’s Environmental Advisor Intern, you’ll work during the Summer of 2017 to on a gas pipeline project in Dumfries and Galloway. This is not only a paid internship but would be a great opportunity to build up experience and get into the local environmental science field.
Some of your key duties as an Environmental advisor will be to:
- Establish and promote the best practice possible; this includes safety, health, sustainability, and environmental matters.
- Advise project managers on the best possible environmental conduct.
- Undergo regular environmental checks to see that the site complies with environmental legislation.
